Online Giving - FAQ's

Q: Is it safe to give online?
Yes. In many ways giving online is safer than writing a check because an electronic gift cannot be lost or stolen.  Addtionally, we use secure systems and secure encryption methods (SSL) to process information.

Q: What types of bank accounts can I give from?
You can give online from your checking account, through an option called eCheck, or via Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express.

Q: Are there any fees involved with giving online?
Not to you. You will not pay any fees with an online donation.

Q: Can I make a one-time donation?
Yes. The system allows you the option of either making a one-time donation or setting up a recurring donation. For recurring donations, you can schedule the donations to come out of your bank account on the date specified by you.

Q: Can I set up multiple recurring donations?
Yes. You will need to create multiple recurring donations, as you can only create one recurring donation at a time.

Q: Can I change the day of my recurring donation once I have set it up?
Yes. You will need to contact the church at 412-264-9392 or email to modify the recurrance.

Q: Will I still receive regular contribution statements from Impact?
Yes. Impact will continue to send year-end contribution statements to your address on file for tax purposes.

Q: When will donations be taken from my debit card or credit card?
Donations will be taken immediately from the debit cards or credit cards.

Q: Can I designate my gift to a particular Category?
Yes, you can designate your gift toward our 3 main Categories: General Fund, Good Samaritan, Missions, or make a special note/designation.

Q: How will I know that my donation was done correctly.
You will be redirected to a webpage stating the status of your transction.  Addtionally, immediately after submitting your donation, you will receive two e-mails verifying your donation; one from our website and a second from our payment gateway that does the bank processing.

Q: Can I review my donation history online?
Yes. Simply log into the Members Area using your email address and password, and view the complete history of your online donations.

Q: Can I change my personal information or the amount?
Yes. Simply log into the Members Area using your email address and password and make the necessary changes in the system.

Q: Does it matter which Internet browser I use?
No. Any browser will work.
