Steve Hammer

Steve Hammer has served Impact Christian Church as Lead Minister since June of 2009. He previously served churches in Pleasant Hill, Oroville, and Riverside California and in Glendale, Arizona. He and his wife Jill have been married since June of 1978. They have 2 grown daughters: Angela and Bethany; two sons (by marriage): Ryan and Jeremy; and two perfect grandsons: Steven and Daniel. Their third daughter Cayla, passed away at age 4 ½ from a chronic blood disease. Steve is a graduate of San Jose Bible College (now William Jessup University) and has done graduate work at Hope International University.

Your favorite sports team? Steelers (my new team) and AZ Diamondbacks (my old team)

Your top 3 heroes (other than Jesus)? My Dad, Peter, Lil Debbie (of snack cake fame)

Your top 3 spiritual gifts? Leadership Prophecy (public speaking), wisdom

Your life verse? Acts 20:24: "But life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus - the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love" and Galatians 2:20: "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
